Today is International Women’s Day.

Today, we think about the legacy of those before us, and the future that we are now creating for the next generations.

If I could impart any wisdom to the young women of today and tomorrow, it would be this:

You have one voice, and it matters. Use it.

Your worth does not depend on having a relationship, a spouse, a child, or a career.

Education is your most precious asset. Nurture it.

Surround yourself with people who realise how special you are.

Don’t worry about being different. Worry about being the same as everyone else.

It’s never too late to speak up for justice and equality.

You are not responsible for anyone else’s happiness.

Always remain true to who you are.

If you choose to be in a relationship, then be with someone who loves your because of your weaknesses, not in spite of them.

Confidence is the most powerful attribute you have.

Don’t chase perfection. Strive to be better than you were yesterday.

Your physical appearance does not define you.

If you have a kind, loving, and generous heart, then you will always be beautiful.

Here’s to all the strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.
